Food is fresh and all prepared in house. I have been there several times and recommended for afternoon meetings to date nite outings. They also have a cocktail bar! Beautiful customer service, a welcoming atmosphere.

Delicious food and really open, modern atmosphere. Contemporary take on a diner with a bar. If you're looking for a friendly, casual place, this is it.

I got the Koji burger and spuds. Absolutely delicious. Great sear on the burgers, unbelievable flavor. A proper 10/10. The spuds were also super good. I'm not sure what they're seasoned with but that had an extra delicious flavor too

Staff was extremely friendly and the wait for the food was very quick. I got the JBB burger with some onion rings and when I say it was a religious experience, I'm not lying to you. The burger was seasoned perfectly and the candied jalapeños were just the right amount of heat/sweet. The main show were the onion rings. I was almost offended by how delicious these things were. Fluffy, airy, a batter that didnt just fall off and it almost tasted like there was some sort of horseradish dusted on top. They were phenomenal. Wish I could give more stars.

Koji Burger is unbelievable. The quality of the ingredients, from local produce and the best beef ground fresh for their burgers, to the scratch-made sesame buns makes for a good meal every time. No exaggeration, their burgers are the best in town and beyond too. My husband claims the onion rings are the best he's had anywhere. The ambience is authentic, down to earth and clean. And these folks are so hospitable, making everyone feel welcome and taken care of. Quick service, done well...this is the real deal

I always wanted to visit Koji Burger when it was a pop up shop but I kept missing the hours. I was excited to learn that they would be opening up an actual space. The timing was right: they were holding a fundraiser for Dayton Public Schools. I was game.
I arrived at around 12:30PM which was towards the end of lunch and the line was long. The line moved pretty fast for orders. I ran into a co worker and took a seat next to them.
The wait was longer than expected but it was lunch time on a Friday. I am glad it was packed. I ordered a chicken burger that came with kimchi. I also picked up a sweet tea. Each bite was delicious. I devoured it in no time. My co worker devoured their burger as well.
I loved that they played boom bap and the music wasn't over powering. It was crowded but not noisy. I can't wait to go again.

So I took my lovely wife out on a date here. She had the Steak Burger with House Fries. I had the Classic Koji with House Fries. Also ordered a side of Onion Rings. When I tell you EVERYTHING was fresh and seasoned to perfection!! I'd definitely recommend this place.

We loved Koji Burger. I went with a group of 9 during busy lunch hours. They accommodated us and got the food out quick. My food was fantastic and everyone else seemed to share the same sentiment. I got to go food yesterday and it was also very good!

This isn’t just another burger joint. The burgers are perfectly cooked, incredibly juicy, and layered with umami in a way that feels both elevated and approachable.
The Japanese influences are intentional and exciting, not gimmicky—think rich sauces, subtle sweetness, and ingredients that enhance the beef rather than overpower it (salted onions for the win). Every element feels balanced and purposeful. Even the sides deserve attention; they’re creative, crisp, and seasoned with the same care as the mains.
The atmosphere matches the food. Service is friendly and knowledgeable, happy to explain the inspiration behind the menu.
It’s comfort food with soul and precision—and honestly, it sets a new bar for what a burger can be. Do yourself a favor. Eat here soon and often.
